  AppleCare: 1-800-APL-CARE
Free 90-day phone support on all new Macs/1 year hardware support. AppleCare purchased within 1st year: 3 years free phone and hardware support. To find the status of your Mac’s warranty, here is the link. You will need the serial number, which is under the Apple Menu>About This Mac>More info. I strongly recommend buying AppleCare when buying a Mac, an iPhone, or an iPad (iPhone and iPad AppleCare is for 2 years, not 3).

    Apple Glossary / Internet Acronyms

Find almost anything at Apple’s glossary page. Sometimes wonder what those letters mean online? IMHO look them up here. And for a more general acronym search: go here.
