Some of these free tutorials require the latest version of Quicktime and Mac OS X 10.3.9. Others may require Windows Media Player, Flash, or Stuffit Expander. Use the links here to download and install these programs or schedule a tune-up to make your Mac more compatible. The Atomic Learning tutorials are Quicktime videos. GarageBand You don’t have to be a musician to make music with GarageBand. GarageBand includes short pieces of pre-recorded music called loops. You can combine, arrange, and extend loops to make your own song. I use GarageBand to convert cassette tapes to CDs or iTunes music, and to make live recordings. GarageBand can record from a MacBook (or even an iBook) without a microphone.
